They came in threes – Part 1

A void rests on our sacred ground (2021)

15 years have now passed in which I have experimented to find a format that gives me freedom on the one hand and is recognizably positioned on the other. In the spring of 2025 it came together and I found combinations of three photographs to be the right way to achieve both. The task is difficult and solvable at the same time.

When two or more photographs interact in a suitable way, something new emerges. Our minds get out of sync and associations are awakened.

The works refuse a singular meaning and rather open up a strange, imaginary space for our feelings, thoughts or even questions.

In the coming months you will get to see the individual works one after the other.
