What you speak of reminds me of the Djinn in 3000 years of Longing...the movie. He takes all the sounds and images in London and transforms them into beautiful, soothing, celestial music...because he's a Djinn and he can.
The moments when I am deeply grateful are rare. There must have been more of them – right now I remember what it was like to stand alone on a viewing platform above the Grand Canyon almost thirty years ago. The sun was setting and bathed the rugged walls of this incredibly large canyon in orange, reddish and later blue light. I deliberately didn't take any photos and decided to keep this memory forever instead.
